Hi @SandraPraetor, can 2020 aspirants provide the idea? I just joined the community and trying to understand how things work here.

Quick info of me: My name is Amogh Mishra, am pursuing my MS in Data Science at Columbia University. I have been working in Knowledge Graphs and NLP for 2 years and I want to leverage my skills to be a part of the DBpedia in GSoC.

@AmoghM Hi, sure you can provide any idea you have, no matter how specific or broad it is. It might be useful at some point to get in touch with potential mentors to refine your idea. But that it for later, once you put out your idea first :slight_smile: So go ahead.

Thanks for the response @SandraPraetor. As of now, I shall get an understanding of the community, codebase and close some existing issues on Github to better equip myself of giving an idea.
