Google Summer of Code Students

Hi everyone,

My name is Zulfiqar Ali Mir. I have a background in Python, data analytics,
knowledge graphs, and AI/ML. I have worked with graph-based data models
(Neo4j) and data extraction pipelines, and I’m interested in contributing
to DBpedia through GSoC.

I’m currently exploring DBpedia GSoC ideas related to knowledge graph
quality, information extraction, and data analytics. I look forward to
learning from the community and contributing.

Best regards,
Zulfiqar

Hello everyone,

My name is Sai Kumar, and I am a BTech student from India interested in contributing to DBpedia as part of Google Summer of Code 2026.

I have experience with Python, Git, SQL, and open-source development. Recently, I contributed to projects such as hiero-sdk-python and evillimiter-ng, where I gained experience with pull requests, issue discussions, and collaborative development workflows.

I have also worked on a DBMS project using SQL, designing relational databases and writing queries, which sparked my interest in structured data, knowledge graphs, and linked data systems.

I am particularly interested in the DBpedia NLP pipeline and ideas related to knowledge graphs and information extraction. I would like to start exploring the codebase and contributing.

Could you please suggest beginner-friendly issues or repositories where I can start contributing?

Thank you for your time.

Best regards,
Sai Kumar
