Getting stared path for open sources contribution with DBpedia as a master's student

I am excited to work with DBpedia in my aim of taking part in Google Summer of Code 2024, and I am now investigating possible areas of focus within the organization. I’m a fourth-semester FAU MSc Data Science student, and I’m actively looking for chances that would support DBpedia’s ambitions and fit the objectives of my master’s thesis. I am eager to start working on projects that will combine my academic training with my professional experience and advance me in the industry.

Before finalizing your project proposal, it’s crucial to engage with the DBpedia community, discuss your ideas on their mailing lists or forums, and get feedback from mentors. This will help you refine your proposal and ensure alignment with the organization’s goals.
