We are currently doing some heavy maintenance on downloads.dbpedia.org
The server needs a complete overhaul and it might take a while to backup all data, then restart and migrate. It’s a multi-step process, where everything might take longer, so please have some patience.
We hope to fix it by beginning of May.
Note that the download server was very stable in the last 18 years. Around every 5 years we needed to do a week or two maintenance on it and now is that time again.

Sorry for bothering you. I’d like to ask about something unrelated to the ongoing maintenance. I’ve been experiencing an error when trying to access the DBpedia search API at https://lookup.dbpedia.org/api/search?query=Cloud, with the message “Service Unavailable - The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.” This issue has been occurring since last week and has not been resolved yet.
Currently, my team and other research projects are relying on the DBpedia Lookup API, and this issue is affecting our progress. I would like to know the current status of the API and if there’s an estimated time for when the service will be restored. I would greatly appreciate it if this could be addressed as soon as possible.
