DBpedia monthly dataset release

Hey everyone
I wanna know how to access to DBpedia monthly dataset release and if the displayed information is like the one represented in the online version of DBpedia, also, if the data represented in the monthly release dataset is more up to date than the one in the online version

Hi @moha92,

sorry for the momentary confusion where is what, we are actually working on update of the service at http://dbpedia.org/sparql

Hm, I will try to be exact here:

  • live.dbpedia.org always goes extra
  • we are producing extractions monthly, which are the dump files. These are theoretically the ones being loaded into dbpedia.org/sparql but it is infeasible to update the main endpoint everytime we do a new releases.

From a user perspective, you can use the query in Simplifying the Chapter endpoint deployment and replace “de” with “en” That should be semi-correct.

If you wait two/three weeks we will have updated the main endpoint and have written up the exact query for loading, which gives the exact version of each file. Also in two weeks we will have a new interface to better make collections over the dumps.

Meanwhile you can also play with the new PreFusion published today which is an aggregation of all data inlcuding Wikipedia/Wikidata/MusicBrainz/DNB.

Hey,

I moved your topic into the data releases category.
