I wanna know if there is a difference between the DBpedia dataset and the online version of English DBpedia? and how to use a DBpedia dataset when we download it?

Online Version is the 2016-10 dataset loaded in a Virtuoso SPARQL endpoint: http://dbpedia.org/sparql there is also a live version
The datasets are now produced monthly. We publish it already, but it is still beta, many bugs got fixed however. A query on how to load latest is here: Simplifying the Chapter endpoint deployment
Usage is normally these:
- query sparql to build applications
- merge data with other data to build a custom knowledge graph
- enrich search or AI
